Phishing mirror: a fake Vortex market mirror that steals logins

From Vortex Wiki, the Vortex knowledge base

The copy looks perfect because it is copied; the address is what gives it away.

Definition

A phishing mirror is a page on a different onion address that imitates the real login to collect passwords, PINs or payments.

How it is spread

Through forum posts, chat messages, search listings and "new address" announcements that were never made by the operators.

What it collects

Usernames, passwords and two-factor answers, sometimes passing them on live to log in to the real account.

How to expose it

Compare the full address with a checked source. If it is not on the signed list or on a checked gate, it is not a genuine vortex market mirror.
