PIN: the second secret that guards account actions
From Vortex Wiki, the Vortex knowledge base
The password opens the account; the PIN guards what you can do inside it.
Definition
A PIN is a short numeric code requested before sensitive actions, such as changing settings or confirming a transfer.
Why a second secret
If someone steals a session or a password, the PIN is one more thing they do not have.
Choosing one
Avoid birthdays, repeated digits and the same PIN you use for a bank card or phone.
Where it is entered
Only inside the account, after logging in through a checked vortex market link. A pop-up asking for the PIN right after the queue page is a warning sign.
